Service Delivery & Travel Policy

At Off-Grid Touring, we bring the workshop to your rig. Based in Warragamba, we specialize in on-site technical support, repairs, and installations. Our "delivery" involves dispatching a specialized technician and service vehicle directly to your location.

1. The "2752" Community Guarantee

We are proud to support our neighbors. To provide the best value to our local community:

  • Postcode 2752 (Warragamba & Silverdale): Your call-out fee is $0.

  • Local residents only pay for on-site labor and parts.

  • Note: Standard labor rates apply once work commences.

2. Postcode-Based Service Charges

For all locations outside of the 2752 postcode, service fees are calculated based on your specific postcode. This fee covers the dispatch of our mobile unit, fuel, vehicle wear, and travel time.

  • Tolls Included: All standard road tolls incurred during transit are covered within your service fee.

  • Payment: Service fees are pre-authorized at the time of booking to secure your appointment window.

3. Remote Access & Vehicle Limitations

  • Access Fees: Any National Park entry fees or private land access permits required to reach your location are the responsibility of the client.

  • 4WD-Only Access Warning: Our service vehicle is not a 4WD. While standard unsealed or dirt road access is included in your rate, we cannot traverse tracks requiring low-range or high-clearance navigation (e.g., fire trails, soft sand, or steep backcountry).

  • Service Forfeiture: If we deem the access road unsafe or impossible for our 2WD service unit to navigate, we will not continue and your service call-out fee will be forfeited. Please notify us of specific track conditions during booking to avoid this.

4. Appointment Logistics

  • Arrival Window: We provide a 2-hour arrival window and will text you when the technician is en route.

  • Cancellations: Please provide at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations made within 24 hours will forfeit the service call-out fee.

  • Safety & Verification: We reserve the right to refuse or cancel a booking due to extreme weather or terrain. We may ask for GPS coordinates or "Dropped Pins" before dispatching.
